How to pay
Nothing here is sold off the shelf. Every order is quoted by email first, then paid by bank transfer. Our bank details travel with the quote, so there is only ever one place they can come from.
1. How an order actually works
Unit price depends on quantity, material and how the workshop is loaded, so an order starts with an enquiry rather than a checkout. Nothing is charged at any point until you have accepted a quote in writing.
- Add what you want to your enquiry on the site, or email us the list directly — either is fine.
- We reply within one business day with a quote: unit price, order total, lead time, and shipping to your destination.
- You accept the quote. Our bank details come with it, on that same email.
- You pay by bank transfer (T/T). We dispatch once the funds clear, and email you tracking.
2. Bank transfer (T/T)
T/T is the only rail we take. It is slower than a card and it costs you a wire fee, but it carries no chargeback, which is what keeps the price honest for both of us.
3. What T/T costs
- Wire fee: typically $15–40, charged by your own bank, on top of the order.
- Our bank may deduct an intermediary fee. If the amount lands short we will tell you before shipping rather than quietly adjust the order.
- No card processing fee, and no chargeback.
4. Safety — read this one
5. Minimums
There is no fixed minimum order quantity. Small retail orders are welcome — the unit price simply moves with the quantity, and we say so plainly in the quote rather than hide it behind a table.
6. Currency, refunds, cancelling
- Everything is quoted and charged in US dollars.
- Cancel before we dispatch and we refund in full, less any bank fee already incurred.
- After dispatch the 30-day return window applies — see shipping & returns.
- Approved refunds go back by bank transfer to the account that paid us, within 3 business days of the return arriving.
7. Card payments
Not switched on yet. When they are, this page will say so. Nothing else about the process above changes — you are still quoted before you pay.
